AI Business Software · Ticino, Switzerland

Custom business software, with AI that does the groundwork.

We build it from scratch around the way you work, or we put AI inside the software you already use. It reads, fills in and flags. You approve.

Digitam software, early morning

You get to the office and the work is ready and waiting.

Overnight, the software has read the new emails, drafted the orders, checked stock levels and picked out what needs your attention. When your day starts, everything is already organised and ready for approval. The decisions are yours.

Example: the Today screen of custom business software. The AI has read an order that came in by email, proposed a stock reorder, flagged an overloaded team and drafted a message to a customer who has gone quiet for three months. Each item is waiting for a person to approve it. On the right, a question asked in plain language gets an answer, along with the data it comes from.

AI Business Software · how it works

Business software that doesn’t just store your data. It understands it and puts it to work.

Everything connected
Customers, emails, documents, orders, jobs, appointments and history: all your information, in one place.
The AI knows the context
The AI is connected to everything in your software. It searches and cross-references information to answer your questions in plain language.
Ask. Then let it act.
Ask “What was this customer’s last email?”, “What have they bought?” or “Which documents do we have on this job?”. From the same chat, you can also tell it what to do: update records, prepare tasks or set processes in motion.

Digitam SAGL · custom business software from Ticino, for SMEs across Switzerland

The same email, in two different systems.

At 08:14, an order with 24 lines arrives as a PDF.

Standard software: Waits for you to type.

Example: in standard software, the order email is still unread and the form is empty, with 0 of 24 lines entered and no price check.

  • You read the PDF
  • You retype all 24 lines
  • You look up the codes in the price list
  • You spot the mistake later

With AI built in: Gets it ready and waits for your OK.

Example: with AI built in, the same email has already been read and the form is filled in: the customer, 24 of 24 lines, the codes matched to the price list and the total of CHF 3,482.40. Line 7 has a price that differs from the price list and is flagged. The order is ready and waiting for your approval.

  • Reads the email and the PDF
  • Fills in the form
  • Checks codes and prices
  • Flags the line that doesn’t add up
Where to start

New business software. Or yours, with AI inside.

We can build custom business software for your company, or connect AI to the software you already use. You don’t have to switch systems: we choose the simplest, most sensible option for the way you work.

Route 01 · From scratch

New business software, built around the way you work.

When it makes sense

When your work is spread across Excel, paper and programs that don’t talk to each other. Or when your current software forces you to fit your work around it, instead of the other way round.

  • Only the screens and features you actually need. No modules you’ll never use: the software is built around your processes.
  • AI can be built right into it. It can read information, look up data, fill in fields, run checks and help with everyday tasks.
  • Your data moves across from the old system. Excel files, customer and supplier records, documents and other information can be imported, so you don’t have to start from scratch.
  • Start with the essentials and add the rest over time. The software grows as your business needs change.

Already delivered: business software for Vini Rovio, Officine Cameroni and Crescendo Yogando.

Route 02 · Your current software

AI inside the software you already use.

When it makes sense

When the software you use works and you don’t want to replace it, but around it there’s still data to copy, documents to process and repetitive tasks done by hand.

  • AI connects directly to the systems you already use. It can read documents and information, look up data, cross-check it and update your software automatically.
  • Your team keeps working the way it always has. Same software and same screens, with no new program to learn and no change to the way you work.
  • We can connect to your software and your other business tools. bexio, FileMaker, Odoo, Excel, custom software and many other systems can talk to each other.
  • Before we build anything, we can show you exactly how it would work. We build a demo on your own processes and real cases, so you can see the solution before it goes in.

Inside the software

In every department, the work is already done.

A few examples of what the AI does inside Digitam business software. Yours will have your departments and your rules.

Orders arrive ready for approval.

Whether they come by email, as a PDF or on WhatsApp, the AI reads the request, recognises products and quantities and finds the right items in your price list. If something doesn’t add up, it flags it. You check and approve.

AI prepares · You approve

Example: an order sent on WhatsApp becomes a table of lines with code, description, quantity and price. The fourth line has a code that isn’t in the price list: the software flags it and suggests a similar item, and the order waits for approval.

The reorder is ready before stock runs out.

When an item is about to run out, the AI notices and drafts a new order to your supplier. It can go by what you usually order and the quantities you need. You check it and decide when to send it.

AI prepares · You approve

Example: stock of the stainless screws drops to 180, below the threshold of 500, and the software prepares the supplier order for approval.

Every customer, with their whole history in one place.

Orders, emails, documents and notes stay together on the same record. And if a regular customer hasn’t been in touch for a while, the AI lets you know and can draft a message to get back in touch. You choose whether to send it.

AI alerts you · You decide

Example: the Lakeside Hotel record with orders, emails and documents. At the top, an alert that the customer hasn’t ordered for 94 days and, below it, a draft follow-up message, ready to review and send.

You know early when a team has too much on.

The software keeps jobs, hours and availability together. If a team is at risk of being overloaded, the AI warns you in advance and suggests where to move a task. You choose what to do.

AI alerts you · You decide

Example: six weeks of planned hours for the North team. Week 41 reaches 46 hours against 40 available and turns red; the software suggests moving the Via dei Pini job to Thursday.

Ask the software the way you’d ask a colleague.

“Which orders are running late?” “When did we last hear from this customer?” “What documents do we have for this job?” Just type the question: the AI finds the information it needs and gives you the answer straight away, without opening screens and searching by hand.

You ask · AI finds

Example: asked “Which orders are running late?”, the software replies with three orders marked as late and shows where the answer comes from: open orders.

Why it pays off

AI works best when your data lives in one place.

Ask Swiss companies what is holding AI back, and the two most common answers are about data: its quality and its protection. Well-built business software brings it all into one place, so you always know where it is, how it’s used and who can access it.

20%

name scattered, poor-quality data as their biggest obstacle. No other answer comes up more often.

19%

name data security and protection. It’s the second most common answer.

How we work together

We start with what you really need. Then we add the rest.

No months of development before you see anything. We start with the process you most want to improve, get it up and running, and build from there.

  1. Step 01

We start from how you work today.

We spend 30 minutes understanding how you really work. If you’re in Ticino we come to your office; otherwise we meet online. You show us the tools you use and together we see where AI business software can make the work simpler.

  2. Step 02

    We decide where to start.

There’s no need to build everything at once. Together we choose the first feature that’s really useful and set out clearly what it will do, what it will cost and how long it will take.

  3. Step 03

We build it on your real cases.

We use your data and the situations you deal with every day to build the first module. So it isn’t built on generic examples, but on the way your business actually works.

  4. Step 04

    We put it to work.

We set it up, test it with your team and show you how to use it. Then it can grow with the business: when a new need comes up, we add what’s needed without starting from scratch.

You

You tell us how you work today, give us access to the data we need and try the software on your real cases.

Us

We take care of everything else: development, integrations, testing, set-up and launch. You don’t need any technical skills in-house.

Which programs

You don’t have to change everything. It connects to what you already use.

The new software can connect to the programs you use every day. And if you’d rather keep what you have, we can build the AI right into your system. Below are some of the programs we can connect to.

How it connects, in plain English.

  1. the most direct route01

    Direct connection

If the program allows a direct connection, the AI business software connects there. It can read and update data without anyone copying or moving it by hand.

  2. no need to change everything02

    Files, folders and email

If a direct connection isn’t possible, the AI can work with exported files, shared folders or email and use that information in the software.

  3. only if needed03

    The way a person would

If a program allows no other connection, the AI can use its screens: it opens the pages, fills in the fields and goes through the steps just as a person would.

Your program isn’t listed? We check your case in the consultation, before promising anything.

Data and control

Your data, protected. A person always decides.

Everything in writing, before we build.

Which data leaves the software, which AI model reads it, where it’s stored and for how long. All in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, nLPD in Italian).

AI prepares. The final say stays with you.

When orders, payments or stock are involved, the AI doesn’t decide on its own: it prepares the proposal and waits for your confirmation. If something isn’t clear, it flags it.

Example of an activity log: the AI reads an order at 8:02 and flags a doubtful line; at 8:40 Sara corrects the line by hand and approves the order; the confirmation goes out to the customer.

Example: the history of an order, showing who did what.
What people ask us

Seven questions about business software, answered directly.

01What is custom business software with artificial intelligence?

It’s business management software tailored to the way your company works: orders, stock, customers, jobs, documents. Artificial intelligence is built in and does the groundwork. It reads emails and PDFs, fills in records, checks the numbers and flags anything that doesn’t add up. The decisions stay with people.

02New software, or AI inside the software I already have?

If your software works and your team knows how to use it, keep it and add AI: that’s the quickest route. If you’re juggling Excel, paper and programs that don’t talk to each other, new software is the better choice, starting with a single module. In the free consultation, we tell you which route suits you.

03My software already has AI features. Do I need anything else?

Maybe not, and we’ll tell you so. If those features handle the work that weighs you down, use them. You need us when the work moves from one program to another, or follows rules only your company knows.

04How much does custom business software cost?

It depends on how much it needs to do, which is why we start with a single module. After the first analysis, we give you a fixed price, together with an estimate of the hours you’ll save. If there’s also a monthly fee, you’ll know before you sign. And if the numbers don’t add up, we tell you, and we don’t go ahead.

05How long does custom business software take to build?

We start with one useful feature and put it to work as soon as it’s ready. Then we add the rest one module at a time, without waiting for the whole system to be finished. We agree the time and cost of each stage before we start.

06I use old software, or just Excel. Can it still be done?

Almost always, yes. If the program has a way to connect to other software, or a database we can read, we connect there; if not, we work with exports, folders or email. The Excel sheets you use today become the starting point for your new software. We check this in the consultation, before promising you anything.

07Where does the data go? And what if the AI gets it wrong?

Before we start, we explain clearly which data is used, where it’s processed and where it’s stored, in line with Swiss data protection law (FADP). The AI prepares and suggests, but it doesn’t make sensitive decisions on its own: if something isn’t clear, it stops and asks for confirmation. The final say always stays with you.
