This English version is provided for convenience. In case of any difference, the Italian version prevails.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website saves on your device so that it can work, remember your choices or measure visits. Browser storage (for example sessionStorage) works in a similar way.

2. Public pages: no cookies

The public pages of digitam.ch do not use cookies: no technical cookies, no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. That is why you will not see a banner asking for your consent.

  • We do not use any analytics or advertising tools.
  • The pages do not load fonts, scripts, videos, maps or other content from third-party servers: even the typeface is hosted on our own server.
  • The forms work without cookies: to protect them from bots, we use a verification code that travels with the form and expires after 12 hours.
  • The links to LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and Google Maps are simple links: those services only come into play if you open them, and from then on their own rules apply.

3. What your browser remembers

After a few seconds, the website shows you a message. To show it at the right moment and not show it again once you have closed it, the website saves two pieces of information in your browser tab's storage (sessionStorage):

  • digitam-avviso-inizio: when your visit began;
  • digitam-avviso-visto: whether you have already closed the message.

These are not cookies: they stay on your device, are not sent to us or to anyone else, and are deleted automatically when you close the tab.

4. Technical cookies in the private areas

Only people who log in to a private area receive technical cookies, which are needed to stay logged in:

  • Client area (clienti.digitam.ch): technical cookies for logging in.
  • Website management area, only for people who work for Digitam: the digitam_admin cookie, which contains only a session code and expires after 12 hours at the latest.

5. How to manage cookies and browser storage

In your browser settings, you can view, delete and block cookies and site data. This changes nothing on the public pages. If you block cookies, you cannot log in to the private areas; if you block browser storage, the message may reappear when you move to another page.

6. Changes

If in future we use analytics tools that rely on cookies, we will only do so with your consent and we will update this page. We explain how we process personal data in our Privacy Policy; if you have any questions, write to info@digitam.ch. This page is also available in Italian: in case of any difference, the Italian version prevails.
